abode and FIBARO Team Up to Provide Enhanced Home Automation
17 September 2021 – abode UK has teamed up with FIBARO, leading provider of smart home technology to give its customers further access to specialist devices, enhancing their smart home ecosystem.
Whilst abode is Zigbee and Z-Wave compatible (making it open protocol), the integration with FIBARO provides richer supported functionality, including the pending Apple Home connectivity.
The modular nature of the abode security system allows its customers to select the devices they want, when they want, The new partnership will see abode customers able to directly access the FIBARO range which will initially include smoke, carbon monoxide and window sensors, along with smart plugs. Over the coming months this will expand to a wider range of products, all of which will supplement popular sensors from abode.
